Throughout the past few years, the York Region Conservatory of Music teamed up with a leading independent record company to release various CD projects. Due to the demand & success of the CD releases, the York Region Conservatory of Music continues these CD projects/releases on a yearly basis.

Students of all ages & levels are invited to perform on the CDs. This not only gives students an exciting, unforgettable, professional experience in the recording studio but also gives parents a cherished memory of a lifetime.

We decided to name the performers “Kids for Kids” since proceeds from the sales of each CD are forwarded to a children’s charity of the performers’ choice. In the past, we've donated to The Starlight Foundation, Hospital for Sick Children, The Humane Society, Mercy Corps (Children Victims of the 911), Disability Online & theTsunami Disaster via the Red Cross.  We now yearly donate to the Hospital for Sick Children.

With the special writing & production skills of Ms. Gilbert;And, with the convenience of now having our very own recording studio & production team, Ms. Gilbert has also been able to write, produce & release CDs for herself, other professional recording artists & also for vocal students that have a desire to enter into the world of commercial recording & performance.
