At
the young age of five, Victoria began to
study the piano. She was fortunate to study
with reknowned instructors such as Boyanna
Toyich & James Anagnoson (of the reknowned
piano duo Anangnoson & Kinton). Theoretical
studies exposed her to professors such as:
Bill Andrews, Joe Ringhofer, Molly Sclater,
Earl Moss, James Lawless, Dr. Roman Toi
& the late Dr. Samuel Dolin. She graduated
from the Royal Conservatory of Music with
First Class Honours Standing.
Victoria’s
vocal studies began when she was in her
teens. Again, she was fortunate to study
with reputable & prosperous instructors
from across Canada, the US & Europe
(the list is endless). Recent operatic roles
include: “Tisbet” in Rossini’s Cenerentola
& “Mrs. Nolan” is Menotti’s opera The
Medium.
After completion of
the Royal Conservatory of Music Examiner/Adjudicator
program in 1990, Victoria immediately began
her post as Royal Conservatory of Music
Practical & Theoretical Examiner.
Registered with Canadian
Music Festival Adjudicators Association
(CMFAA), Victoria’s had the pleasure to
adjudicate a series of competitions/festivals
throughout the years:

Aside from examining

in her very own prosperous & reputable
music school. She is still active as a lecturer,
clinician & member of the ORMTA (Ontario
Registered Music Teacher’s Association).
Victoria’s teaching
methods have proven extremely successful.
Her students not only receive highest standings
in examinations, but also attain scholarships
& awards from universities & competitions
alike year after year.
Her years of expertise
were collaborated in her writing the following
books: Introductory Technique for Piano,
Introductory Technique for Voice, The Adventures
of Dino I, II,III & A Collection of
Piano Pieces for Boys. Future projects include
a pedagogical book.
At the age of 16, Victoria
landed a writing/publishing agreement with
a prosperous, local, independent record
company. This exposed her to the commercial
music industry & led her, in the year
1992, to establish her very own record,
production & publishing company. She
was also nominated for a Juno award.
Throughout the years,
her abilities as writer, arranger, producer,
vocalist & performer has landed her
the recognition, topping charts in the US,
winning Billboard’s Song Contest & attaining
nominations for best female vocalist. In the summer of 2002, Victoria released a come-back album
entitled “Together Forever” which charted internationally. There are future recording projects in the plans for Victoria (including an operatic album). |
